Dental Prosthetics
Teeth with extensive damage are restored with:
Inlays/Onlays: These are cemented all-ceramic restorations that restore only the decayed areas of the tooth, leaving enough healthy tooth substance intact. They are the most conservative restoration of a decayed tooth and have great resistance to chewing forces and high longevity in the mouth. (~20-30 years)
Crowns:They are all-ceramic prosthetic restorations that cover the entire tooth. They have similar strength to metal-ceramic restorations but are superior in terms of color and optical properties that resemble those of the natural tooth. (~20 years)
Bridges:
All-ceramic prosthetic restorations that are bonded to the teeth and include one or more missing intermediate teeth.
