General Dentistry
General dentistry includes a range of procedures aimed at maintaining oral health and repairing problems in the oral cavity.
-Cleaning (scaling): professional cleaning by the dentist at regular intervals is necessary to remove microbial plaque and maintain healthy gums.
If not removed in time, microbial plaque hardens and creates tartar, which is the main cause of gingivitis and periodontitis. These diseases potentially cause tooth loss.
-Fillings: the dentist removes the decayed part of the tooth and restores the damage with the appropriate material. This procedure is necessary so that the damage does not progress deeper into the tooth or even to the root and lead the patient to Root Canal Treatment (RCT) or extraction of the tooth.
